In a vaccuum the big game is 1 mason/IC + 4 vigs vs 4 goons + 1 lone wolf vig (who didn’t know her partners). I disagree that that’s scumsided.
Also, given the win conditions and the fact that there are more vigs in game B, if everyone is playing optimally to their wincons then the game B dead town should always fuck over game A town by transferring scum from B to A.
I’d be interested to know how Nanook thought this mechanic was going to work.
I think if we realize it’s a mass vig game, everyone claims D1 and coordinate shots… Though, other vigilantes should have caught on given how often I claimed D1.
But there ended up being 5 scum and 1 lone wolf in the big game, that is scum sided (even though one was outed)… Like if Chesskid doesn’t pick up on Nutella D1, I’m pretty sure town always loses that game.
Also, Hannah not posting at all didn’t help. 5 scum being off wagon didn’t help either.
Coordinating shots didn’t really matter given the way Nanook handled the refunds. Like even if we killed one of the vigs who shot spirityo… the other one would still have his shot refunded.
And you can’t really say that it’s scumsided in a vacuum due to the fact that we imported a scum from game A. That’s the opposite of what “in a vacuum” means. I can agree that it was harder for game B town to win due to the swapping and how scum used it, but that doesn’t mean the setup was scumsided.
Btw I’m not trying to detract from how well the town played or how shitty the scum played. I just like griping about how hard my life is and how I definitely would have won the game for my team if only the game had been balanced better
