I disagree. By pushing me as scum and counterclaiming the cop who had tied us together she has negatively affected my game in a way that is not at all in anyway possible for me to reclaim. She created a dichotomy in thread where one of the three of us was always going to be lynched no matter what. That is absolutely game changing and ranked games need to be held to a higher standard on things like this.

Not disputing anything about how good or bad the play was. Do you understand why it’s hard to make the distinction between someone playing poorly and someone purposefully trying to lose when you don’t let it play out?

I think gamethrowing is an unpleasant term but I would define it to mean changing the result probabilities of the game in some big negative way relative to your own faction.

A lot of people have gamethrown while 100% trying to win. I have. (I don’t know if you remember the game from Liars club in s1 where I missed 3 autos in a row).

It’s very different from someone purposefully trying to lose.

And it’s super hard to figure out which is which without being able to talk to player’s privately outside the confines of a deception game and without actually seeing people’s decisions play out in the game. In this particular case I had already pinged Erika privately on discord to check on their intentions.

Like she created a situation in which one of us is lynched and then the person on it then HAS to be lynched the next day via conflicting information once the other person flips town. We lose that game 100% because of what Erika did.
