The cult is able to meet it’s wincon even if lynch mafia back to back. The cult can’t overrun the town because each memeber still has their original alignment and wincon. Notice how the town wincon says we win when all mafia is eliminated, and not, “all threats to town”. The cult is secondary for everyone except mylo (who is essentially a survivor).
So for us we need to lynch in the correct order then?
We all just need to lynch the last mafia. With only one mafioso remaining there is no way the cult scumsides since there needs to be three of us alive at endgame, and a one man scumteam only wins at two players.
That’s arguing as if we were third party. I know I am still town. I’m just pointing out that killing off the cult is meaningless unless you think one of us is a wolf.
