I also thought the same thing but for the sake of game not breaking by mass claim, I think mods may have used a main character for scum fakeclaims

literally the only games I’ve ever even HEARD of that had anticlaims were ones where players literally are given alt names or codenames and are told prior to the game that claiming their alt name is bad for them.

so if I go out for claiming in this game, I think that’s sorta mechanically unfair.

I was explicitly told that “mass claims will not break the game” which means that there are anti-claim mechanics

And as I said earlier

I assume it’s not the weak-ass “oh but giving the scum flavor claims is anti-claim” because it feels like they’d have just said such and I’m realizing now they haven’t

Usually at closed games with flavor, scum are given extra town role pms with no other use than fakeclaim those roles whenever they want.

I honestly think that the miller claim is actually a true claim. In a closed role madness game, it’s not uncommon to have a miller in the game and wouldn’t be surprised it Sulit put it in the game.

I copied the question above:
“Are there any mechanics that could harm me for claiming my role or flavor?”

And I got the response that the roles do not exist, but that a mass flavor claim will not break the game.
So I guess that wasn’t a lie on orange’s part

Still I don’t see how you can get that an anticlaim mechanic has to exist. In no game will a claim “break” a game, unless it’s a scum gamethrowing one.
