So we couldn’t trade them around until it was too late
why didn’t we get to lynch this guy
Can I pretend that that’s an actual photo of him

Okay, here’s my soapbox… I mean no offense here, but this is where I stand.
First off, part of my mindset this game as a reviewer and pseudo-cohost was that this is bepwei’s first game and that he should not have to deal too much with the moderation of toxicity. Throughout this game, there were a handful of warnings that were considered and/or handed out. Bepwei handled most of the moderation with some advice and assistance from myself and REM as appropriate. There were exactly three forced replacements or modkills considered. Two of those were handed out. (Snowman and Jake.)
Second, as far as Jake is concerned, in my rulesets I treat intentionally breaking game rules as equivalent to intentionally cheating, regardless of advantage gained. I have communicated as such with site administrators and have brought Jake’s behaviour to their attention, in addition to mentioning that as far as I know, it is a repeated pattern of behaviour across multiple sites. JakeTheWolfie was not welcomed into dead chats, and personally, at least for some number of months, is not welcome into games that I host on this site or elsewhere. I would highly advise any other person who intends to host and is reading this to act in the same manner. People who would play in such a manner should not be welcomed in the global mafia community.
Third, the mafia team and Orange in particular. I am of the opinion that whining the whole game about host actions, about a modkill, about the other players… That not reflecting one bit on your own play, and spitting on the play of your teammates… There’s no better terms for that than poor sportsmanship and poor play. The mafia team as a whole did okay throughout the game. In particular, I think that some of the play discussions considered by the team were quite solid. There was some good play, some bad play, but that can be said about pretty much any player in pretty much any game. But I mentioned that there were three modkills/forced replacements considered. The third player was Orange, for general attitude throughout the game. And I’m not saying this lightly. I don’t like saying this. Orange was helpful at times to the hosts, particularly in setting up the mafia chat discord and some closing of the thread. But his attitude throughout the game included a lot that was rather toxic, to the point that forced replacement or modkill was considered. Maybe he will be able to reflect on that and improve in sportsmanship for later games. I don’t know. I hope so.
Last but not least, to end on a positive note, I think that the setup worked out decently well, and that it was a particular achievement for bepwei for his first game. I’d like to thank bepwei and REM for being fun to work with as hosts, and I look forward to seeing what’s next from them. Bepwei in particular was quite articulate, knowledgeable, and on point while more comfortable in his position as host than I would expect from someone with his level of experience in hosting (and even in mafia).
Congratulations to Town, well played to most players, and I hope to see most of you around.
What was the other one?

I’m a slow reader okay >.<
Question
Why did I get vanillaized over anyone else
roleblock would be dangerous to have late in game
There were still 3 scum alive at that point
roleblock would be dangerous to have late in game
Fair
Also re: orange I think he had the right to be salty tbh
A lot of stuff went wrong that was outside of his control and while I wasn’t actually there for it I do think there’s no one that could be blamed for the game going the way it did (aside from the offending parties for obvious reasons)
wait don’t we get a badge for winning as town or something
gg
If you think I’m being a poor sport just tell me to my face my guy
I’m comfortable indulging in a bit of excess salt so long as I’m not bothering anyone I don’t want to by it
In general I’m much more lighthearted than my constant sarcasm would suggest, so if that’s getting you down just tell me
Kinda hard to fix anything when you ain’t told it’s an issue
I’ll stand by that being a bad moderation call but at the end of the day it’s a game and we’re supposed to have fun
I have no desire to be a part of taking that away from others

I can talk to you about things in DMs, but as far as I’m concerned, the explicit warning from bepwei about behaviour was as far as that should have needed to go. I understand that being self-reflective in that sort of circumstance is not always the easiest, but I also do not consider it to have been particularly difficult to have been more so overall.
During the night I wanted to quote one of chemists posts to post in my class card. When I tried to do that, I realized that I shouldn’t have been able to do that because it was night time and you can’t reply to a post if the thread is locked. However I also noticed this when I tried to do it.
Does anyone know what happened? My power to do that disappeared after talking to the host but it seems like they had nothing to do with it.
Please keep in mind our rules for postgame
Actually fuck it, going to test something. No unsolicited criticism of people’s play at all, congratulations/gg’s/etc. only. If you’re open to feedback state clearly you are (and indicate public or private). If someone hasn’t indicated they want feedback don’t provide any. There are some things in the game that I thought were good example of what were and weren’t over the line #friendly/policy wise, will highlight those in a bit when I have time.
