The US is a collection of 50 United States. In 1776 the founding fathers (Such as George Washington, Ben Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson) created the Declaration of Independence, basically creating the United States.
The us in that statement represents them appearing to be useful to people who wouldn’t think twice about it.

With 5 out of the 7/8 required votes for a lynch on me, I will out that my soft red check was on @DoggoPlays. I say it was soft because of the circumstances around how I received the information, which were rather suspicious (I didn’t visit last night, however I got information which would suggest me having to visit to obtain it)
