Itā€™s possible that the tiebreak was due to EoD confusion, however, as cited by Erika (and Eric yesterday I think), if the tie is t/w, then by choosing one person over the other, thereā€™s an indication that the other is wolf. This puts Jake in an interesting spot, as well as orange who broke the tie.
