I have a mildly autistic friend whose behaviour has been steadily worsening. I’ve known him since I was like 6, and now 15 years later he acts less of an adult than he did when he was a kid. He’s constantly arguing with his mom, goes drinking with my brother even though he’s on antidepressants that react negatively with alcohol, and doesn’t have a job or a life at all. All he does it sit at home and play games at home on the N64/GC/Wii/WiiU. His mom’s enabling that lifestyle because she’s totally out of batteries but he’s a complete burden on her and he’s just gotten completely out of hand but I’ve known him so long and spent so much time with him that he’s essentially part of the family and I don’t know what to do about it.
