Guns and Roses, OVER

But I know I’m town

@Srceenplay Say Chesskid flips town and you get NK’d with no other deaths N1. Who does your ghost pour all it’s afterlife efforts into getting lynched? Why?

I am out for one Night and you guys engage in this already? Can I read about what’s going on first? Also, it’s quite suboptimal for me to claim, but I’ll get back to this if need be.

It’s suboptimal for literally everyone and yet here we are.

Explain what you mean. You don’t have to claim as part of that explanation.

(And no, I don’t expect you to do so before you’ve caught up.)

I see people claiming left and right what they have and for when. Why? Can you explain this to me? Did you expect that I would tell you when I’m most vulnerable or whether I’m vulnerable at all? I just don’t think it makes any sense. This is totally irrelevant this early in the game. What, you think Scum are going to tell you exactly whether they intend to shoot and when? Seriously.

but would they do it for towncred?

I haven’t read the game. I really haven’t. I just glanced through and it seems to me that people are debating whether you should claim and I can see some statements being made about it. How much, exactly, do you expect to learn from that? All I know is that there are 6 roses which means Town broadly made a lot of right calls. You want to make sure that it’s tough for Scum to win this game quickly, since all you need to do is shoot the roses to win. So why would I as Town claim what I am? Shoot me and find out. I’m not giving you insights that will shorten the game. This is nonsense.

And you voting me with 1 post without even understanding my strategic thinking is ridiculous.

tier and starv were always going to fakeclaim n1 gun regardless of their actual roles.
so i made it so that there were 7+ gun claims around with 5 real guns at most

Listen, I expect to see a lot of shots fired N1 because that’s the style of players here. Everyone who knows me will know that I tend to play it much more conservatively. However, I could be taking advantage of that here and trying to make a pick outside the box. You don’t know. But I’m not telling you. I’m not lying about it because I agree it’s totally silly and against my win condition, but I’m also not telling you because it creates targets.

everyone is an n1 gun

And frankly, I had thought about this much ahead of time. I read the structure of the game and immediately knew how I wanted to approach this.

Hmm, I misread your tone. I thought you were specifying that it was suboptimal for you to claim (vs anyone else).

As to the claims, it’s interesting that you ask “you think Scum are going to tell you exactly whether they intend to shoot and when?” Because “when” isn’t debatable. That part is locked in. What does scum gain from lying about when (if they’re claiming a gun)? And “whether” seems unlikely to be in question, too, as any player who picked “gun” will be more inclined to shoot than not (unless they picked a later Night, perhaps), regardless of alignment. So I wouldn’t be all that surprised if some players, as scum, chose to true claim their choice and Night. Why are you throwing those elements out there as opposed to “you think scum are going to tell you exactly who they intend to shoot?”

Andrés is blindingly town

Urge to hammer is something fierce. I’m going to sleep on it, though.

Its painful to watch the obvious scum chesskid cling to life here because low hanging fruit srceenplay is a shiny distraction.
