Dunno. My tracking ability description is identical to USELESS’; it doesn’t say anything about feedback about getting redirected.
most mods will always tell you if your ability “failed”, compared to giving you absolutely nothing
like even given an inves role, even if you got no information, they dont just not tell you anything
a tracker would get, “your target visited no one”
a watcher would get, “no one visited your target”
an example roleblock, at least if I was the mod would be something like this, “Your ability has failed”
there are some abilities that don’t usually give feedback
and there are some that “should” affect the information you give to a player who’s target has changed
like a transporter or busdriver, but sometimes that is solely up to the mod, but in the case of either, staying silent is on the borders of bastard
For example, I used a cop check on player x, but I was told the alignment of player y, so I can infer a busdrive or transport, but it doesnt necessarily out either of them, but at least you dont think you got a check on a player you targeted when it was that

Well I’ll further reveal that I am a busdriver and my previous incarnation swapped Marshall and Bananas. The most likely scenario is I see is that Marshall was targeted by a roleblock
